The Bakersfield College softball team split a pair of games at Reedley, yesterday.  In the first game BC defeated Reedley 8-0.  Kylee Fahy tossed a 2 hit shutout with 7 strikouts.  McKenna Valencia and Haleigh Hutton lead the the offensive charge for BC.  Valencia was 2-3, with a homerun and 4 RBI, while Hutton was 1-3 with a homerun and 4 RBI.

In the second game, against San Mateo, the Renegades lost 7-4.  San Mateo out hit BC 18-6. Haleigh Hutton led the Renegades, going 2-4 at the plate with 2 RBI.

Bakersfield College is now 11-4 on the season and will be at home for their next six games.  BC will host a double-header against Taft College on February 20th with the first game beginning at 5:00 PM and the second game scheduled for 7:00 PM.
