The Bakersfield College Women's Golf Team placed third in a field of six at the Western State Conference Match #6 held at Kern River Golf Course Monday. 

A mere stroke separated BC's top three finishers with Brandi Borjon leading the team with an 83, Janette Chhuon Chan finishing second with an 84, and Ireland Barton rounding it out with an 85. Karson Gray finished fourth for BC at 133. 

Santa Barbara won the match with a collective score of 330, Citrus took second with a 367, and Bakersfield finished third with a 385.
