Bakersfield, CA - Renegade Athletics is excited to announce Wes Coble as the head coach of the women's golf program.
Coble will take over for former women's golf coach Jacque Servadio who served for two years in the role. Servadio steps away from the position to have more time to focus on running Kern River Golf Course, where she has served as director since 2018.
Coble has coached the Men's Golf program for the previous three seasons and will now be the head coach over both programs. This last season, he led the men's golf team to its first post-season appearance in the CCCAA SoCal Regionals for the first time since the early 2000's.
"I'm very excited to step in the role as Head Women's Golf Coach at Bakersfield College", commented Coble "It has been a great opportunity to lead the men and now adding the women's program will extend and unify the BC golf family. My wife, Carly and I are extremely excited to welcome new members into the BC golf family."
BC Athletic Director, Sandi Taylor on the transition, "Jacque has been a great coach for our program and I have enjoyed working with her. I know she is going to do great things in all her endeavors. Wes is a go-getter and I look forward to the direction he takes our women's golf program."
Renegade Athletics wishes Jacque all the best in directing the Kern River Golf Course and will always welcome her as a member of the Renegade Athletics family.
