Bakersfield College 197 pounder Jose Robledo scored a third period takedown over Sac City's Jason Zecchini to win 4-3 and place third at the California Community College Athletic Association State Wrestling Championships at Fresno City College Saturday. 

The Renegades endured several stunning upsets-as did the rest of the field-but came back and wrestled solid in the second day of competition. 

Here are the rest of BC's placers: 

125- Norman Abas (5th place)…Abas scored a 16-0 tech fall (his second of the tournament) over  Modesto's Christian Vasquez to place fifth overall.

184- Zach Mitchell (7th place)…Mitchell beat Patrick Penick 5-1 in his final match…Mitchell will return to BC next season. 

HVY- Josh Davis (8th place)…Davis lost to #2 seed Andrew Cruz on a takedown with just five seconds remaining to fall to 8th place.
