Bakersfield College Women's Tennis dropped their last dual match of the season 7-2 on the road to Ventura College Tuesday.

"After going 0-15 last year, the team has really turned it around and finished 11-9 overall, and 4-6 in conference," first year Coach Nick Loudermilk said, "Coach Nick Jacobs (BC Men's Coach and former women's coach) put together an excellent team, and I got the most out of everyone on the squad for the whole season. We got five wins by the score of 5-4. That really shows the heart of this team."

The Lady 'Gades will play at the Western State Conference Tournament in Ventura next week.

"I expect Riley Tucker, Kaylee Defrees, and Lucy Cisneros to be seeded for singles and doubles, and if they play well, they will advance to the state tournament in Ojai in the following weeks," Loudermilk said.
