The Bakersfield College Baseball Team (9-4, 13-16) picked up a 4-2 road win over West LA Tuesday, on the strength of a long save by Monty Stevens and some timely hitting from Brant Combs

The win was BC's fifth in a row, dating back to a 8-4 win over LA Valley on March 18th.

Stevens pitched four innings of one-hit baseball to pick up the save after relieving Austin Toerner (WP, 4-3). Toerner scattered six hits over five innings while walking five, giving up two earned runs and striking out four.

Combs broke up the 2-2 tie with a RBI single in the fifth inning. Combs was 2-5, the only BC hitter to chalk up multiple hits in the game.

Konner Dodge gave the Renegades an insurance run with a two-out, RBI single in the eighth inning.

BC will play next on April 6th at LA Pierce.
