Coach Cameron is a graduate of Highland High School (2010), where she helped lead her team to a League Championship in 2008. She continued her running career at Bakersfield College, qualifying for the California State Cross Country Championships in 2010 and 2011. She later earned an Associate’s Degree in Human Biology (2015), a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science from CSU Bakersfield (2019), and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction and Biological Science from Texas A&M (2025).
Her coaching career began at South High School (2020–2023), where she guided both the boys and girls cross country teams to a League Championship in 2023.
Now part of the Bakersfield College coaching staff, Coach Cameron brings both her competitive experience and academic expertise to developing well-rounded student-athletes. Beyond coaching, she is proud to be raising two children who also run cross country, continuing the family tradition of distance running.
