Wes Coble

Wes Coble enters his 5th year at the helm of the Renegade golf program.

Before coming to BC, he was a local high school coach for sports ranging from varsity football special teams coordinator to head tennis & basketball coach.

Coble's collegiate playing career was cut short due to medical issues; however, his passion for athletics and player development became his main focus. At each of his coaching locations he has made it a goal to encourage players to strive for excellence in the classroom, in competition and in the community.

He holds a B.A in Communication from California State University, Bakersfield, a Master's Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Bakersfield and an M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania. Along with a multiple subject, mild to moderate special education and moderate to severe special education teaching credentials. He also holds additional education certifications in traumatic brain injury development, autism, and mobility development.

As coach, Coble preaches team before self and always embrace the pain. His coaching mantra is " I didn't say it was going to be easy; I said it would be worth it." and "when you become a Renegade golfer you become a family member."

Wes resides in Bakersfield with his wife  and two children. He attributes his coaching discipline to the greatest assistant of all time, his wife Carley. The Cobles take great pride in being Renegades and they attempt to instill that pride and passion into each player.
