The Bakersfield College Men's Basketball Team (4-2) will host Cerro Coso College (0-3) on Friday to kick off the annual Thanksgiving Tourney in the Gil Bishop Sports Center at 1pm. 

Basketball is on the menu Friday through Sunday in the Palace on Panorama as BC hosts schools like Porterville & Orange Coast College (Friday @ 3p), Mt. San Jacinto & Mt. San Antonio (Friday @ 5p), and Cuesta & Barstow (Friday @ 7p). 

Saturday and Sunday schedules will be determined following the outcomes of the opening round of play. 

6-8 Freshman forward Jaylunn English leads BC in scoring with 13.8 points per game and 4.5 rebounds, while Brooklyn native Johnathan Murray pursues the daunting task of filling the large shoes left by Jameik Riviere by averaging a tick over six assists per game. 

Returners like Sophomore James Pendleton make BC a formidable opponent as they average nearly 80 points a game in Coach Rich Hughes' high-energy game plan.
