Women's Golf take Second in Conference Championship
VENTURA, CA - The Renegades walked into Monday's Western State Conference finals sitting in the driver's seat of their own destiny. The ladies just had to finish in at top 3 team spot to solidify a second-place conference finish.

Coach Wes Coble stated, "The ladies were determined; we knew that catching Canyons was outside of our grasp, but we had our focus on the second-place finish and a team birth the Southern California Regionals." The Renegades not only finished in second place as a team, but they posted their lowest team score of the season with a 330.

Bakersfield will take the course against the best CCCAA golfers in Southern California this Sunday and Monday in a 36-hole event at the CCCAA SoCal Regionals at El Parado Golf Club. Coach Coble " We are ready, the team is mentally and physically i a great spot and the fact that our scores are getting lower each week puts us at an advantage as we try and do something that hasn't been done in decades and make the state tournament as a team. I have complete confidence in our ladies and coaching staff and know that we will put forth the absolute best performance that a Renegade golfer can."

Women's Golf will be in Chino at El Parado Golf Club from Sunday to Mondays with tee times are at 8:30am.
